The East Coast donair is great (so good that it’s all we ever get). Service is always friendly. I am offered complimentary coffee every time I go there while waiting for my order. And the food is halal, which is essential to the Muslim family members.

I stopped in on a whim on my way home. I would have never guessed that nestled in the corner of a south Calgary strip mall would lie a diamond in the rough like Praire Donair. As I walked in the vertical broilers were rolling with the delicious meat snacks any easy coaster craves fort-nightly. Greeting me with the biggest smile and perfect teeth was Manisha. Once I put in my order for the East Coast Donair, she asked how my day went. We had a pleasant and cordial conversation as she filled my pita to the brim and grilled it to stay in one piece. The service was fantastic. The food I would return for with friends and recommend for anyone to try.

If Beyoncé were a restaurant, she’d be Prairie Donair. First off, the décor. It’s like HGTV and a pita had a baby—classy but still says, “Come here, friend, let’s eat something wrapped in carbs.” The service? Let me tell you, I have never been treated with such respect while clutching a fistful of tzatziki-soaked napkins. These people serve you like you’re royalty who got lost on the way to Buckingham Palace and stumbled into a donair shop. And the DONAIR. Holy garlic sauce. I’m convinced they marinate the meat in unicorn tears and good life decisions because that thing was life-changing. Halfway through I thought, “Should I write Prairie Donair into my will?” The answer is yes. Yes, I should. 10/10 would let my children marry a Prairie Donair

Worked my way through every donair and really liked them. Medium size is plenty. The Old World is my favorite because it has fries at the bottom. I'm a big beef fan and the West coast is fully loaded with it. Got one of the platters today and its pretty good price for the size. I could not even finish it because it also comes with fries+naan bread. Jolly staff, etc can't believe i wasted so much time on subway :(

Me and my wife came in for the first time, after my sister told me about this place, We ordered two chicken shawarmas, The server was very friendly and helped us thoughtfully as we were very new to this place. The food itself is very tasty, we enjoyed it, especially my wife. You guys just made new customers.
